Do you believe in LOVE at first sight

I was asked this question today. My answer? Yes and no. Now let me explain.

Love is an infinite, divine and unlimited experience which unifies the person to the quintessential essence of their own supreme being. It is a force that goes beyond everything we can comprehend and is the creative force behind everything we see. The material universe is created in the spirit of Love and regardless of what it is that is manifested, the aim and purpose is to bring about ultimately only good for that person and for the universe. 

Having real sight is about being able to look beyond what is carnally or materially understood to see with deeper eyes. It is spiritual sight or being able to perceive from a more infinite space. Love is infinite. So to experience Love at first sight would require something much more profound. 

Real Love is nurtured over time. What some people refer to as "Love at First Sight" is actually lust at first sight and fails to really connect on any level beyond one’s physical desires. Now this does not mean that love at first sight does not happen or is not possible.

In the beginning when a person “sees” (physically see) another, there may in fact be an attraction. Yet, often this attraction is carnal attraction or lust. There are many cases when there is a very strong spark upon seeing a person and an immediate connection. In these cases the attraction can be so compelling. It can be so intense, familiar, mutual, and so deep that neither of you understand why these feelings might be happening and why you might be feeling as if it was meant to be. Sometimes people get the feeling that they know the person.

When a person truly experiences love at first sight, there is a recognition of something that goes far beyond the surface of what is readily understood. Take for example a stranger. From a conscious awareness, you may have never met the person and for all intended purposes he or she is a stranger to you. However, intuitively the person may be someone familiar and although carnally speaking it may be a stranger, subconsciously, it may be someone you already know, and have known for ions of time, not physically, but spiritually. Intuitively you recognize them and may get the feelings that you have met before, when in this lifetime you may not have met at all. However, perhaps you did meet in another lifetime.

In this case, what is experienced is real love that has been nurtured over time although you may not be consciously aware of it. Real love transcends through time and space. And the Love at First Sight feeling, is an intuitive recognition of Your True Love.
