It’s a question you’d imagine most people would answer ‘Yes’ to. We’re always asking for feedback when you think about it.
“How do you like the draft?”
“do you think the message is on point?”
“Are you happy with everything?”
Simple enough questions…but are you really getting as much value as possible out of the answers? Probably not.
If you’re comfortable enough to ask your customers questions similar to those above…are you asking them to write you a recommendation? Why not?
You’ve delivered a service, they’ve answered ‘Yes’ to all your feedback questions…so why wouldn’t they take 5 minutes to write a recommendation for you?
Look at our testimonials…all genuine, honest feedback from clients. The best part…this has lead to new business enquiries without sending a single e-mail or making a single call.
Simply put, customer testimonials create something of a self-fulfilling prophecy regarding your connection with your target audience. ... Consumers naturally trust each other more than they trust just marketing collateral, so that testimonial adds more weight to the decision they're trying to make.
Reading and watching testimonials has become a natural part of the buyer journey. Therefore, by ensuring your company has several testimonials that are viewable either on your website or through external sites (like social media and Google) you can increase your chances of winning new customers.

#6 – 63% of consumers indicate that they are more likely to purchase from a site if it has product ratings and reviews. (Search Engine Journal)
We’re proud of the work we provide our customers, so why the hell wouldn’t we want to shout it from the rooftops.
If you haven’t already…ASK them.
