Do the Work

Did you hear? We launched our research team last week in partnership with?Blind .

“There is nothing of any consequence in education, in the economy, in city planning, in social policy that does not concern Black people.”

Toni Morrison

When George Floyd was murdered, Blackness was morbidly en vogue. Companies were investing millions [over several years], painting roads, and donating to organizations left and right. Then, something curious happened. Well, not so curious if you follow the pattern of Black rights in this country and colonized nations — Blackness fell out of favor again. The fashion reset back to an illusion of inclusion - co-opting Black, activist language for white comfort. Black disabled, queer, etc. folx being passive aggressively erased in the name of political expediency and financial gain. The reality is however that irrespective of what mainstream platforms, movements, and institutions decide to latch onto for their own imperialist ends, Black people are impacted and Black people matter. Engage our latest conversations and content to see how we fulfill that belief.
