Do these words really make a difference?
Do the words above really make a difference?
I am persuaded that many single words and short sentences starting with the active word do make a difference. They can help to influence, sell and persuade. However, when I saw some of the words classified above into RED (avoid) and GREEN( use these instead), I wondered if some were in the wrong colour column! You may not be able to see the whole illustration above but lower down the red column outlaws the word "New" and in the green column cliches and baffling (to me) phrases such as "Snag it" and "One fourth taken off the total!" are recommended instead. What's going on? What's in a word?
Any thoughts?
