Do whatever to serve God

1 Samuel 10:7 Once these signs are fulfilled, do whatever your hand finds to do, for God is with you.

Do whatever?!? That sounds like an awful lot of freedom that if in the wrong hands, could end without the best results. Freedom is a blessing and should not be taken for granted. Like my wife would say about giving people freedoms when she was a manager, 'Give people enough rope and pray they don't hang themselves!' In this verse however, the reason why the freedom was handed out to Saul in confidence was because He had God in his heart. When our hearts are changed by Jesus, God knows more often than not we will make decisions that will honor Him. So, when we 'do whatever our hand finds to do'... God knows it will be done to honor Him when He is our foundation. Set your heart on God, do whatever you do to serve Him, and have a blessed day!
