Do What You Love & The Money Will Come?

World Changer: Do What You Love & You Will Never Have To Work A Day In Your Life.

I used to have this on my LinkedIn profile. It is still there but buried under honors and awards. When I had it on my profile more prominently I had a lot of strange messages from people.

All I know is that I am not using my God given talents and living with purpose. Just like the passage in the Bible from Matthew 9:24 "Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep." And truly I felt much like that. I woke up one day as if my eyes were wide open for the first time. I took a good hard look at my life and decided I wanted and deserved better.

Most of my life I have done what others wanted me to do and what was expected of me. Is that really a fulfilled life? I believe that a career and a life's purpose can and should go hand in hand. If one third or more of your life is spent working shouldn't it be done doing something you enjoy? Is it possible to be happy and fulfilled in your life's work?

What I Love To Do: What I will do anyway: People say do what you love and the money will come.

Dream Life: Listen to good music, help others grow & prosper, spend time on the beach and travel.

*Music….play music in my car really loud and dance and move my hands crazy like while driving.

*Love being with people. Many people have a great fear of public speaking. I am not afraid of public speaking! My many years of making announcements at trade shows have taught me well. You will find me on various forms of social media encouraging others as I enjoy one on one and online relationship building as well.

*Helping others, you can’t make me stop this! I will do this even if I get into trouble. Doing what is just and right like in the bible. Speak & Teach the world about Love & Peace. There is too much hate and not enough love and understanding in the world. We are more the same than different. I help people see this. I am a great mediator and peace keeper.

*Go to museums….love museums…..went to like 30 of them in England and France.

*I like to travel, to explore new places, meet new people from different back grounds and religions. I am a very open person and someone who is easy to talk to.

*Trade shows…My ex and I owned, promoted and financed several which was a lot of work but also a lot of fun. I liked working with vendors, exhibitors, facility staff, setup crews, lighting crews, electricians, parking crews, banquet managers….you name it. Including Union personnel and the IRS all part of Show promoting.

*Travel Planner….I love planning and traveling, the things to do once you get there…not the actual travel arrangement part which is boring.

*I am very detail oriented and like finding the “correct way". I am a big music fan and I see miss information about singer/song writer Gavin DeGraw or the media leaves out recent & good information & it kills me. Do full time careers in the music industry exist that would make me happy?

*Inspirational writer/speaker? Certainly I have been through a lot in my life. Stories like “Unbroken” and Oprah Winfrey’s both have similarities to mine. I am a prolific writer.

* Something with cars: race cars, exotic cars or just beautiful. Most of my life has been spent in the auto racing industry.

*Love animals.

I am interested in Philanthropy and fundraising is one of my passions.
