The Will To Do What It Takes

Do you find yourself unhappy the majority of the time while being a top performer in your company but at the stake of not seeing a way out to your current unhealthy eating habits? The ability to whip out your credit card & say “that’s on me” when you’re out having fun with friends or family yet still feeling empty inside?

There are more than enough resources around us when it comes to starting a healthy lifestyle, or achieving whatever it is you want to achieve.

But not enough people have the tenacity and mindset needed to make it happen.

This time last year I found myself in a similar situation, no time to make it to the gym, working 10-12 hours a day, being one of the top master trainers in the gym, and still had to go home to my children. I had the financial stability to living a more than comfortable life but still felt something was missing. Just like we tell our clients, something had to change for that situation to change. The global pandemic changed the way I saw fitness, going from training in-person to now successfully coaching and changing many lives all through our unique custom-made coaching package tailored specifically for those individuals who find themselves in the same situation I was in.

Everyone wants to lose 30 pounds or be/look fit by “trying” that 30-day challenge that uses the same plans for all their challengers or that fitness app subscription because its easier to hop online, plug in your credit card info, and subscribe rather than taking the time to speak with someone who has been in your shoes and figure out why and what YOU need help with the most.

Nothing wrong with starting like that, but that way of thinking is exactly why 5 months later, most people are still in the exact same position.

One of the most damaging things to maintaining a healthy lifestyle for more than 6 months is this mentality of wanting something for nothing.

So many talks about wanting it -

The fit mom/dad bod

The lifestyle

The freedom to take a vacation without having to feel bad about how they’ll look in minimal clothing


But few will ever have it.

 

Because most people aren’t willing to do what it takes.
