This month we’ve decided to take a break from our usual trainings and share about two things that have drastically changed both the way we do business and our growth:

Courses and webinars.

Courses allowed me to truly create wealth, but as you know…

It doesn’t matter how good a course is unless you can market it.

Webinars have been my number one marketing strategy, hands down.

I do a LOT of webinars. Webinars have been the fuel to our sales.

And not just for courses - for done-for-you services, for consulting, 1-on-1 appointments, SaaS products, or for whatever you're selling.

I’ve been doing webinars since 2011. I believe they are THE most effective selling tool for leveraging your time so you can sell to large groups.

But even if there’s just one person attending, webinars are a powerful selling tool…

Especially if you can automate it.

While I don’t actually teach people how to create profitable webinars myself, I want you to have the best resources to help you be successful with your own.

That’s why I’m doing a LIVE Webinar with my good friend personal webinar consultant Anthony Morrison to show exactly how to generate more high-end sales in their business - completely automated.

You can register for the training here

We’ll be showing you the EXACT step-by-step blueprint you can implement right away to build your own Webinar Sales Machine.

In the meantime, read this Marketing Minute to find out how e-mail can drastically increase the effectiveness of your webinar in terms of sales.

Are Webinars Old News?

When webinars first became a “thing” it was a play on “seminars” you can see on the web. Totally brilliant.

Nobody bats an eye at the term anymore because yeah - they’ve been around for a while.

The obvious question is…

Do they work?

My answer: only if it’s compelling to your audience.

Some people worry about attention spans. Some people worry that it’s old news and too many people are doing webinars.

Here’s the truth:

There is absolutely room in the market for YOUR profitable webinar if you know how to:

  1. Compel people to show up
  2. You know how to structure it to make sales
  3. You use the right technology that plays to today’s expectations

People will pay attention if your webinar speaks to them and is something they’re interested in. In fact, since Covid there’s been a rise in online trainings because people are still responsive to them and because they are actively looking for online resources.

Webinars aren’t going away anytime soon. If you can automate them and keep your sales up, even better.

Many people don’t like the idea of automated webinars because they feel inauthentic. The truth is, they can be just as effective as lice webinars - for both you and your audience if you know what you’re doing.

Automated webinars give you:

  • True time freedom
  • True consistency and stability
  • True ability to help MORE people
  • True ability to create wealth

The best place to learn how to do them right is through Anthony Morrison, the expert who’s sold over $30 million via automated webinars. Join me as he shares his system and learn how you can set up your own automated webinar sales machine.

Get People to Show Up

In my companies, we’ve sold millions thanks to webinars. Like I said, I’ve been doing them since 2011, but it wasn’t webinars alone that did the trick.

Just like any product or service, a webinar needs people to attend in order to have any chance of effectiveness. So if you want more sales, you’ve got to market your webinars to get people to attend and participate.

When you combine webinars with email, you’ve got a powerful 1-2 punch! If you’ve done your email marketing right, hopefully, you’re trusted in the inbox and when people see your name, they know you’ve got something that will help - not just something to sell.

The point is, email is a great way to advertise your webinar. Here are three ways to use email to make your webinars more effective:

1. Promote the webinar beforehand

If you already have a list of people or a database you send regular emails to, it’s a natural move to send out a few emails to let them know about an upcoming webinar (this is whether it’s a live training/workshop/masterclass/etc or an automated one).

We usually write out several days to a week’s worth of emails to promote it.

We’ve found that a mix of email types works best:

  • Stories (from your own experiences or others related to the topic of your webinar that reflects the need for the knowledge you’ll be sharing in the webinar)
  • Direct pain points
  • Long content emails - related to the webinar
  • Testimonials/results of people who’ve attended previously or who’ve learned or implemented something related to what you’re teaching in the webinar (your own results included from implementing what you teach
  • Short curiosity-driven emails focused on the benefits of what the webinar will do for them.

2. Power in the follow-up

As with any sales endeavor the power is in the follow-up. Do not neglect your list after the webinar takes place!

You’ll want to send out emails after the webinar to a replay or a recording. What you call it is up to you, but you need to resell it.

The reader needs to be motivated to watch the replay if they missed the live training.

If you have an automated webinar, you can schedule “follow-up” emails as well. Treat them similarly to regular promo emails.

3. Outreach

These emails are for 1-1 outreach campaigns. You can use your webinar in your outreach as a valuable resource you share with your chosen prospects. Whether you’re sending the link to the webinar (live or automated) on LinkedIn or via email, treat the emails similar to the promo emails, but keep this in mind:

Be personable and human.

It’s very easy to get out not a “marketing” vibe and start sounding salesy. Especially in your 1-1 outreach, you need to sound like you’re talking to someone you’ve met, who you get along with, have chemistry with, and are helping out by sharing a helpful resource (your webinar!)

Your Turn

Webinars have been one of my primary marketing strategies for years.

I’d even go so far to say that they are the most powerful selling tool out there.

At Connect 365, we’ve used them to sell courses, trials, and high-end coaching programs.

In the past, with my other businesses,  we’ve used them to book hundreds of appointments with our sales team for high-end services, done-for-you services.

You can too.

But we don’t teach this, so I want to introduce you to Anthony Morrison, THE world’s top expert at webinars.

Anthony has a process he calls the “Webinar Sales Machine”.

Imagine having people every day attending your sales presentations, signing up for your course, and booking calls…

All without you having to be a part of that process.

It’s possible with an automated webinar.

Again, while I have done many, many live webinars, understanding how to do automated webinars will allow you -

  • True time freedom
  • True consistency and stability
  • True ability to help MORE people
  • True ability to create wealth
