Do we need that Anchor?

By pronouncing the word “Anchor’, what comes to your mind? Is it a picture, a sound or you are feeling something? To me, it’s the picture which comes to my mind, a very large ship standing tall on the shore of the sea and anchor is going down the deep water level like a sea animal trying to see what’s beneath that beautiful dark sea. This will support the big giant to stand tall and steady on the sea shore; nothing will be able to move him from his stand. That’s the determination and strong point of an anchor.

Come to think of it, we all need that one anchor for us. This will help us to stay focus on our goal, which will guide us during the time of our struggle. Imagine you are standing in front of a group of people, you are about to deliver a speech/presentation, but some weird thing is happening inside you. You can feel butterfly flapping her wings in your stomach or you might feel you are going to fall down from the top of Mount Everest. Can you feel it, have you been to similar situation where you are not sure of yourself? You want to break out that wall like the giant green Hulk, at the same time you don’t feel courageous enough to come out of that uncomfortable zone. Now, think during that time what is that one thing that will help you to give you courage, which will help you to stay focus, which will help you deliver what you want to deliver. Did you get any answer? Hmmm, you might be looking at this writing hoping you will get the magic word here, but I am sorry my friend to disappoint you. The answer isn’t hidden here, it is hiding within you. You just have to do that extra little work to find out, believe me it will be fun as if you are finding the way out of that difficult maze.

And when you find the way out, it can become your anchor. At any point of time, when you need that support, just think about that anchor, and you will have your desired outcome. You just have to believe in yourself and that Anchor. It has helped a lot of people, and it will help you too. Whatever you do in your life, think whether you believe in that and end of the road are you reaching your heavenly destination with a smile which enlightens your surrounding like a bright sun.

Be that power, be the change, find out your Anchor, if you really want to. Look you are standing tall wherever that might be, and nobody is able to move you because you are rock solid and you have proven it to the most important person. And that person is YOU.
