Do we choose, or do we accept? How could we define our essential goals for health and beauty?

What is the best definition of a goal? Acceptance or choice?
Why do I have what I have now? Or why don't I have what I don't have now? A few thoughts on personal choice, the theme of life in our hands!
Did I accept or choose? Everything that is (or is not) in our lives is the direct and clear result of one of two actions, a conscious and explicit action of choice and a less conscious and obscure action of acceptance!
Just look around you! If you don't choose that thing, that means that you have accepted! It is not the other way! If you don't accept something, this situation is not around you, or you did your best to control and improve things!
Our life is the result of the sum of what we have chosen and chosen (a non-choice is a choice) and what we have accepted and accepted!
We can at any time change our lives based on the analysis of our choices and acceptances!
On what basis do we build what we want (or what we don't want)?
There are two significant schools of thought regarding the fulfillment of our desires. One concerns the permanent presence in our minds of what we want (and actively seeking ways and means to obtain these things). The other point of view is about continually avoiding what we don't wish to (and by denying what we don't want, getting what we really want). The truth is that both are true, depending on how we define our goals.
A goal can be defined as "I want to be healthy and beautiful " and associated with actively seeking ways to be healthy and beautiful (proper nutrition, physical exercise, stress reduction, quality sleep, correct skincare according to age and skin issues, etc.). But we can define a goal as "I don't want to be sick and ugly." Then we will focus on avoiding what makes us sick and ugly (not smoking and not overexposing ourselves to the sun, not consuming excess sugar or processed food, avoiding polluted areas, not using irritating skincare products, etc.).

Where is the truth? What do you think is the best method? What do you think we should do? What is the formula for success?
Sometimes, we need to define a concept by the opposite concept, such as light and dark, sun and moon, day and night, Yin and Yang, and the examples can go on and on!
Last week, I published about clarity, control, and consistency, and now I want to develop the concept of clarity related to what is around us on the one hand. On the other hand, we will discuss the idea of clarity as explicitly applied to health and beauty!
First, we need to establish what is in our environment, starting with the food in the fridge and our sleep routine (yes, beauty sleep exists - here I look for a link from PubMed or my PubMed article with Perceived Age)! The next step is to see how we spend our time and whether we have chosen or accepted certain life situations! Remember! Everything in our life now results from a conscious choice or a less conscious acceptance! So, cheers to the review and analysis!
Second, the concept of clarity is essential to have what we want (and what is possible) regarding health and beauty! We must accept that science has some limits!?
So, the best way to define your goals in health and beauty could be a combination of what you want to achieve and what you want to avoid!
What is your opinion?
