Do Not Waste Your Time Creating Another Vision Board

Do Not Waste Your Time Creating Another Vision Board

If you want to override your subconscious and fears and manifest the best version of yourself, do not create a vision board -- create a mind movie. In the video below, I share a quick summary of what a mind movie is and how it helped me overcome the unimaginable.

A powerful technique that is my secret weapon

This technique was my secret weapon in overcoming two accidents on the ice, six months apart, where I ended up breaking several bones. I recovered and within a year, I became the Championship Bronze Medalist at US Adult Nationals in Figure Skating.

I have kept this tool a bit of a secret but continue to offer it to people who approach me with stories about their own fears and failures. I'm like "Wait! I actually have a solution for this!" I've even offered my secret to my competitors because why am I even doing all of this crazy stuff to begin with at my age? To help people unlock their own potential by showing them what is possible.

Overriding your subconscious

When I had my accidents, I didn't go see a sports psychiatrist -- although it was suggested that I see one. It was very important to me that I overcame this fear by myself.

There is nothing wrong with seeking help, but the root cause of my "mental issues" stem from lack of self-trust. No amount of telling someone how wonderful they are can help someone who struggles with self-trust build confidence in themselves. If that actually works, then you are training their ego and not their essence. [Parents, take notes]. It is work that has to be done by the person -- and they do this by staring right into the abyss of their own souls.

The good news is what while you claw your way back to the top (and you will) there is something you can do and that is to re-program your mind. Stop dwelling on the fear or the past and dwell on the life you want to create.

Happy New Year and let me know how it goes!

P.S. Don't make your mind movie public. This is a story you tell between you, your heart and your soul. Your mind will then follow.

YES! I do something very similar with my clients, and it is was also inspired by my own process of overcoming big challenges. The mind movie concept is simple, but the implementation, like all healing approaches, takes focus and commitment. Ah, but the rewards are thrilling and profound! Thanks for sharing, Jeanette. ??

My son tore his hamstring at the first track meet last season that took him out for his entire Junior season. The recovery process that he had to go through will make him a better athlete and individual as what once was easy, became challenging. Regardless of the approach, taking the time to evaluate the challenge and then use the approach to get you over the obstacles and back on the competitive path is such a powerful and enduring life lesson.
