DO UNTO OTHERS...

"So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets" (Mathew 7:12)

One thing I have learned in life is to treat others the same way I would love to be treated. You may be finding it difficult to love your neighbor as yourself but what about if you treat them the same way you want them to treat you?- it all comes down to love but the approach differs...You’re probably thinking that sometimes you are nice...very nice...and in return, you get contempt from some people. Unfortunately, this can and will happen. People don’t always treat you the way they want to be treated or the way you want to be treated. But that doesn’t mean that you can stop doing the right thing. Don’t let someone pull you into their web of uncaring harshness. Two wrongs never make a right.

I read a quote from an anonymous author which says "I shall pass this way once; any good that I can do or any kindness I can show to any human being; let me do it now. let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again" this quote stuck with me.

Imagine saying "hello" with a smile to the neighbor across the street, or to the people you meet on your way to work, etc... That will make a huge difference you know that. The beautiful faces you see on the street don't mean those faces are happy within. Be an ambassador of genuine love and care to all people at all times.

It pays to show #genuine love and care. There is some sort of joy that comes with treating people right.

Let us learn how to be good to people at all times and not only when it is convenient.
