Do U live by Belief or Curiosity ?

Believing is societal truth … a supporting cause with maximum supporters … a valued lie which is a head turner.. The tabloid says “Believe in yourself “… the common man says if you believe in yourself the world is your oyster.. How far do U agree and how much have U invested in this thought going forward. I guess almost all of U is invested in this line of thought “Believe in yourself”. I too unabashedly followed this until… truth happened ???

The idea is romantic … feels thrilling seems U have got the world at your feet but what happens when the “Belief” is shattered to million pieces… some of them unrecognisable… By the way what was the foundation of this belief system… if only this had been searched for ….out of curiosity we would have been seekers for life…..the canvas could have been painted differently… with hues of unknown?

When we say believe in yourself we are searching for historical data logically .. makes sense because that is where we grope in the dark and fetch our confidence to tackle the next in line but what happens if the situation is different… still believing in self will save the face or do we have a choice… A choice to take call in that moment… ever crossed your mind or ever found yourself in the midst of a whirlpool !

To my clients whenever I remind them of “choice” they feel powerful and to my amazement they want to have an anchor to remind them of their power of humans with a? choice..?

While I was confused between believing myself or not I used to think I will deal every situation as per my belief. To my surprise I did act according to my beliefs and failed miserably… sometimes I did win half the battle why half because I had taken the solution for granted ….. the fact that I will be a winner at the end turned out to be my biggest failure … because life cannot be lived by a yardstick…by a certain “belief”

Many may not be with me on this but by experience I know no two situations can be dealt similarly instead at that moment if you raise your curiosity may be a new pathway can be formed for the same situation…a complete new outlook … a new solution … something out of the box… isn’t that is what we call growing and learning by experience..

Believing in self is a rudimentary way of living where moment to moment the whole scenario can make a change… the very next moment I have changed and so the belief will also change instead living by curiosity will never fail U.

Curiosity is a way of living instead of believing because every word situation event has a different meaning for different people … so being curious helps you to explore further and let’s u act accordingly… chances are the result may not match the pre conceived notions but it’s always going to surprise U which leads the way to growth and learning by experience…?

The take is yours believe in yourself and get checkmate by life or stumped by life ?? or be curious and let life open new pathways the CHOICE will always be yours !!! Happy Coaching?
