Remember being a teenager? I would find it challenging to be a teenager today. How about you? I am passionate and committed to helping as many young humans and leaders as possible; hence, we have launched the Future Leaders Crusaders - a workshop and program for teenagers. What would I say to my younger self if I had a time machine?

Here are some pieces of advice for teenagers to navigate this critical stage of life:

Be True to Yourself

  • Know Your Values: Understand what matters to you and let these values guide your decisions.
  • Authenticity: Don't try to be someone you're not just to fit in.

Focus on Education

  • Lifelong Learning: Education is more than just school; embrace learning in all its forms.
  • Curiosity: Cultivate a curious mindset, ask questions, and seek to understand the world around you.

Build Healthy Relationships

  • Choose Friends Wisely: Surround yourself with people who uplift and support you.
  • Communication: Practice clear and respectful communication with friends, family, and teachers.

Develop Good Habits

  • Time Management: Learn to prioritize and manage your time effectively.
  • Self-Care: Pay attention to your physical and mental health. Exercise, eat well, and get enough sleep.

Cultivate Kindness and Compassion

  • Empathy: Try to understand others' perspectives and show kindness.
  • Volunteering: Engage in community service to develop empathy and make a positive impact.

Set Goals

  • Short-term and Long-term: Set achievable short-term goals and dream big for the future.
  • Resilience: Be prepared to face setbacks and learn from them without losing sight of your goals.

Learn Financial Responsibility
