Do Something Good During the Bad Times

Do Something Good During the Bad Times

I’m hoping everyone is working hard to stay productive (and sane)!  Remember, that you are the Master one thing in all this … your attitude!  What are you doing to keep a positive outlook? Some say that keeping busy is a way to overcome depression. Did you know … During the height of the polio epidemic in the 1950s, Eleanor Abbott was an adult stuck in a quarantine ward with a bunch of children … to make the best of it, she invented a little game that most of us have played in our life … the game of Candy Land was born.

Also, Isaac Newton was in his early 20s when the Great Plague of London hit. Even though he was quarantined, he continued to work on mathematical problems he had begun at Cambridge … this later became known as calculus. Do you know how bored you’d have to be to invent Calculus!?!?!?

Everyone needs to remember a great quote, “Sometimes we’re tested – not to show our weakness, but to discover our strengths!”  What is happening right now could be an opportunity to let your strengths show!  I know some people are rebuilding a house and another friend that taking the time to create art that she didn't have time to get done! As for me … I’m working on finishing my books and teaching blogs … what are you doing?

What are you doing with this time that will echo into the future? What are you doing now that your future self will thank you for? What are you doing now to bless others?
