Companies that embrace diversity and inclusion in all aspects of their business statistically outperform their peers. Josh Bersin
All my professional life is with international teams. Working with different nations and discovering new cultures enriches not only my professional but also my personal experience
I am very proud to be part of a multicultural and diverse business. I value differences and believe that bringing different identities and perspectives together helps me to offer some world opportunities for my clients and colleagues in International Partnerships, PR or Communications.
There is excited to share that the fastest-growing skills at the LinkedIn Top Companies are technical and skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues around the world.
Robin J. Ely and David Thomas for Harvard Business Review “A more diverse workforce will increase organizational effectiveness. It will lift morale, bring greater access to new segments of the marketplace, and enhance productivity. Diversity will be good for business.”
Ola K?lleniu works at Daimler and Mercedes-Benz with colleagues from 165 nations! “Successfully integrated and diverse teams are much more creative, powerful – and so much more rewarding to work with”.
May 21st is World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.
According to UNESCO, this day celebrates not only the richness of the world’s cultures, but also the essential role of intercultural dialogue for achieving peace and sustainable development.
I use Linkedin to share not only my professional achievements and networking with my foreign followers, but also to show the world the cultural diversity by discovering for everyone Ukrainian authenticity.
My diplomatic background helps me to encourage cultural diplomacy as a soft power to deal with different issues.
Today, Vyshyvanka Day: Ukrainians celebrate the day of the national embroidered shirt!
The event has turned into a global cultural diplomacy opportunity for the numerous Ukrainian communities around the world, and a national statement inside the country.
On this day Ukrainians wear Vyshyvanka - folk costumes to demonstrate adherence to the idea of national identity. The day unites Ukrainians regardless of their gender, social status, religious beliefs or political opinions.
Cultural diversity is about fostering a culture in which everyone is valued, respected, heard and appreciated. Diversity promotes innovation, improvement and development.
Respect, empathy, open-mindedness, curiosity, risk-taking, flexibility, and tolerance of ambiguity are all principles that should be applied when adopting different cultures.
Photo project
The Workshop “Treti Pivni” – is a team of photographers, stylists, makeup artists and promoters united by the love towards Ukraine and a wide desire to open the beauty and unique culture of Uraine, to show the wealth of Ukrainian national costumes from different provinces through photographs.
The stylist and founder of the Workshop is Dominika Dyka.
She recreates the ancient looks by dressing people in Ukrainian traditional costumes with a headdress to show old-time traditions and outfits.
Recreational projects of this workshop include taking photos of ordinary people, not models, so they can get a chance to get in touch with the history of their motherland.
