Do not sit in your comfort zone - You will have lower back pain

I recently read a post from my friend Gaetano Nino DiNardi who purchased a $2000 chair (he could afford it :-)? from a well-known brand - However he ended up having lower back pain issues post the purchase. Oftentimes it does not mean that when we spend money, we get the best experience. I found his post fascinating to read because as you/your company grow, you want to make sure that you do not lose sight of your customers.??
Gaetano was so frustrated with the $2000 chair, he ended up firing it and replaced it with a $200 chair from a random furniture store. The $200 from a random furniture store has been a great relief for him, solved his back pain problem and he is excited.
The same applies to our purchasing decisions as well.?We end up buying software and sometimes it makes our life very difficult. After 1-2 years, we figure out that this is not the best investment and we decide to go in a different direction. If you are paying a lot of money for software, it does not always mean you are getting the best product. Keep looking for alternatives. Our ability to keep finding the best software, best vendors, and the best people to work with will not only solve problems but also end up giving us a competitive edge.
Just like how Gaetano discovered his chair from a random furniture store, you always have to keep searching for talent at random places, software from random companies and services from random vendors.
