Thank you to everyone who joined me for last week's LinkedIn LIVE session, Easily Post Your Path To Your Next Role With Video. I’m thrilled by the response and the commitment you all showed to taking charge of your career trajectory.
If you missed the session, or you’re here for a quick recap, I’ve got you covered. In just 20 minutes, we covered how to create impactful video content that positions you as a top contender for the roles you desire. But here’s the thing—it’s not just about creating content; it’s about creating the right content consistently.
The Power of Taking Action
If you’re still hesitating about posting original content, I encourage you to reframe that hesitation. Every piece of content you create is an opportunity to be of service to others through your expertise, values, and vision. A lot of organizations need your help and they don’t know you or what you do.? It’s your job to let them know.? Whether you're actively job hunting or just positioning yourself for future opportunities, your content is a key differentiator that makes you a standout surfer in the sea of sameness that LinkedIn can often be.
Remember, the goal isn’t perfection. The goal is authenticity. People connect with real stories, real insights, and real leaders. Don’t let the fear of getting it wrong keep you from getting started.? As Julia Cameron said, “It’s impossible to get better and look good at the same time.? Give yourself permission to be a beginner.”
What We Covered: A Quick Recap

And, of course, there was a bonus tip at the end for those who stayed with me until the close of the session—a practical action step to get your first video post live on LinkedIn.
What's Next?
Now that you have the tools and insights, it’s time to take action. Start small if you need to, but start. Post that first video, share your thoughts on a recent industry development, or highlight a project you’re proud of. The more you put yourself out there, the more opportunities will come your way.
For those who want to dive deeper, I’ll be sharing more tips and strategies in upcoming posts. We’ll explore different content formats, how to optimize your LinkedIn profile, and ways to engage more effectively with your network.
Final Thoughts
Your journey to your next executive role doesn’t have to be a solitary one. By engaging with your connections through original content, you’re not just waiting for opportunities to come to you—you’re creating them.
Keep the momentum going, stay consistent, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you need further guidance. Together, we’ll navigate this journey and set you on the path to your next great role.
Looking forward to seeing your content on LinkedIn!

By leveraging that mindset, it would almost be selfish not to share it... no matter how "imperfect" it might be. ??
