Being camera shy?
at the beginning of your fitness journey
is pretty normal,
but overcoming that fear?
is one of the best gifts you can give to yourself
if you’re wanting to get to your fitness goals
quickly and safely.
Watching myself on camera when working out
was a very uncomfortable
experience in the beginning.
I was always so overcritical and couldn’t
stand seeing so many flaws.
I just wanted it to be perfect.
But, how could I improve if I didn’t
1. have someone to critique me
or if I didn’t
2. critique myself objectively.
The purpose of critiquing yourself
or being critiqued isn’t to lower?your self-esteem.
It’s to make sure you are performing?
movements in ways that are
efficient and safe.
If you want long-term, measurable success,
then you WANT to be critiqued by someone
who knows what they’re talking about and
bonus points if they want you to be able
to walk away with results AND the knowledge
of the how and why of their methodology.
