Do sales like a toddler, through content marketing
What if I told you that children are the best sales people in the world? This may sound a bit like hogwash for the experienced sales person but let me me give it some perspective before you conclude on your opinion.
Say you you are at home about to enjoy a cupcake and your toddler child/nephew or niece walks in on you and realizes she(let's make her female) wants one but specifically the one in your hand. She might be strategic and not ask for it right away instead she will generate a sale and qualify you through leading questions like:
Her: is that a cupcake?
You: yes it is honey...
Her: is it a chocolate cupcake? (she can clearly see it's not)
You: No it's vanilla...
Her: Oh is it nice?
You: Yes, very tasty...
Her: can I have a bite?
At this point she has engaged with you enough to ask for a bite and have you easily give her a bite if not the whole thing after she takes a bite and thus closed the sale, alternatively she can do an aggressive sales approach by asking and then crying for it but eventually aggressive sales stops working on mos people.
Just like that through content marketing you would have to create you content in a way that communicates to your audience qualifies them through leading questions that you have specified may just solve their problem. Except leading questions the ultimate goal is to increase engagement which builds more trust between you and your customer.
