Do they Pass the 2 Beers and a Puppy test?

In 2015 Ross McCammon coined the ‘2 Beers and a Puppy’ test and it involves 2 questions:

  1. Would I want to have two beers with this person?
  2. Would I trust them to look after my puppy over a weekend?

He goes on to explain:

‘You might have thought someone was “two beers and a puppy” and it turns out they’re “no beers and a puppy.” (You don’t really enjoy spending time with this person, but you think they’re trustworthy.) Or maybe they’re “two beers and no puppy.” Sometimes people are “one beer and a puppy but only for, like, two hours on a Saturday.” Some people are “limitless beers and an ocean of puppies.” Some people are no on both counts.’

I thought of this as I read that Trump has been elected for a second time as President of the United States.

Would I want to have a beer with Trump?

-????????? His public behaviour shocks and disgusts me, I hate to think what he is like privately ?

Would I trust Trump to look after my beloved pooch for 48 hours?

-????????? I think Trump would lock my dog in a kennel without food or water and forget about him

So, it is a hard 'NO' on both counts

Why people would choose him as their leader is beyond my comprehension.

In leadership character matters.

America has gone from Obama who is ‘Limitless beers and an ocean of puppies’ to Trump ‘zero beers and hide your puppies’

The 2 beer puppy test never lies. If you don't like them and they can't be trusted, you cannot work with them safely.
