Do This Now to Feel Less Stressed

Simple Ways to Have a Moment for You

  • Close your eyes, feel your toes in your shoes or the ground, and take some deep breaths.
  • Go outside, stand in a sunny spot, and notice how warm your skin feels.
  • Leave your phone in another room for one hour.
  • Put on your favorite song and sing it out loud.
  • Watch your hands and your face with ice-cold water.
  • Smell a flower or spray a fragrance you enjoy around you.
  • Touch the tips of your fingers together and notice the sensation.
  • Make yourself a tea or coffee and take 5 minutes to savor it.

We make peace and having peaceful moments throughout our day, into a really complicated task. How can you make them simple instead?
