Do-Nothing Days

I love my do-nothing weekdays. I prefer to schedule them well ahead of time.

On those days, after my wife leaves for work, my day usually starts with a Western movie.

After that, I decide what I should eat for lunch. Then, I take a power nap.

If the weather permits, I take a short walk with my wife in the evening.

After dinner, I write my daily blog for the next day.

A do-nothing day makes that week much more productive than any regular week. I get many things done on the back of my mind by doing nothing.

What an interesting coincidence. Was reading a book yesterday, and read a chapter that talks about similar approaches used in monasteries for retreat to rejoice the souls.

How frequently you take this? Once a week? I am thinking it is a good idea might start following your footsteps.
