Do more for others, and for ourselves...

I taught myself HTML back in the late 90s through trial and error. I also learned Corel Corporation 's CorelDRAW in the early 90s. Doing design, building technology solutions are a thing I've been doing a long time.

Fast forward to this year, and I created a template in CorelDRAW which lets me create "trading cards" for people open to work, #offeringhelp, or hiring. I've shared with everyone I'm willing to create these cards for free for people looking for work or helping those who are.

So far, I've created 16 for the job seekers you see here, as well as 5 offering help cards (not including my own). It doesn't take long, but it's hard to scale and I really want anyone looking for a job to be able to have one. I know I can't create thousands though.

So, this weekend, I took my other skill dating back from the 90s - web development - and built a web app to create these cards automatically. Pick a good profile photo, fill out the form, and click "download" and you have your own card.

Extra bonus - it does everything in the browser, so the photo and information never leave the user's computer. There's no "server side" processing.

It's not good enough to release to the general public, but I am looking for a small group of volunteers who might be willing to help me create the cards. Message me if you're interested.
