When we feel alone, suffocated, and annoyed by something or someone that time we feel the Depression and Stress of unnecessary thoughts. This issue is not new at this time due to the COVID or death of Shusant Singh Rajput. It was there in so many years but somehow it's not seen or noticed by us. As an adult and mature Human being, covering emotional and mental health is easy but when we express these things we can feel relief in our soul and body. All we want is a happy life and live it. Everyone has their own struggle whether they are humans or animals. Sometimes we trick ourselves to believe that this happens to us just because of something good is on its way.
Let's think about animals. Do they have feelings? Yes. Do they suffer from some pain and they can't explain? Yes. Do they want someone to love them? Yes. Do they love the cage? NO. In this lockdown time, we all suffer from depression and stress; Just because we feel suffocated and controlled by someone. So, Just we speak, we express that's why we feel pain. We feel alone. We commit suicide.
Just think whats the situation of that Animals we caught them, separate them from their houses, their territory, their family. Still, they survive. They are much stronger than us. They are alone BUT they are strong. They are alone BUT they are smiling and make US happy. They are suffocated BUT do not think of commit suicide. They need love BUT we never give.
We are not alone that we suffer from depression.
We have tended to think of psychological illnesses as a uniquely human trait. But that may be wrong. There is growing evidence that many animals can suffer from mental health disorders similar to those seen in humans.
In a 2011 study, scientists found signs of depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in chimpanzees that had been used in laboratory research, orphaned, trapped by snares, or been part of illegal trade.
Stressful events can even leave marks on animals' genes. In 2014, researchers found that African grey parrots that were housed alone suffered more genetic damage than parrots that were housed in pairs. The researchers examined the parrots' telomeres: caps on the ends of their chromosomes that slowly deteriorate with age or stress. 9-year-old parrots that were raised alone had telomeres as short as pair-housed birds that were 23 years older.
Chimpanzee and Dolfin suffer from Depression and feel stress when they alone. Shark dies from a heart attack. Dogs feel our pain and cry with us when we cry. Cow always treats us as a mother; give us love and care.
There is a long way to go, but genetic studies like these do suggest that all animals with brains have the capacity to experience some form of mental illness.
"If a human breaks a leg, or if a cat or horse breaks a leg, a broken leg is a broken leg. The species does not matter much," Vallender says.
"But mental health is really different. This is because the human brain is very different from other species, and we really need to understand the things that are the same about it and those that are different."Only a few people know their pain, and make them happy just with their love. I heartily appreciate them. Having a conversation of your mental state, emotions, heartbreak, happiness, annoying from something and someone with your friends, family or loved ones makes you feel free, better, and lite. This we can do just because we have a voice and language to describe and people to listen to us. We have phycologist to treat us better. We have our community and society to help us and also demotivate us somehow. we have the power to dominate someone and show that we are superior.
Always teach your kids that respect elder as much as respect animals. whether it is a small ant or a big giant Elephant.
We have a brain that can only use to help other living things. To secure them. To cure them.
