Do Less and Obsess in 2025

At the recent QCE in Melbourne, the EOS Implementers Quarterly Collaborative Exchange where we gather together every quarter to share and learn, Sam Keats , a fellow EOS Worldwide APAC Implementer, shared a profoundly impactful phrase with us: "Do Less and Obsess."

This simple yet powerful idea deeply refocused my perspective. Reflecting on 2024, I realised I was doing too much, which was affecting my purpose as an EOS Implementer, to help business leaders and owners achieve what they want from their businesses.

This is a common trap for many business leaders, trying to do more but ultimately achieving less. With EOS, clarity and focus are fundamental, and Keats’ words elevated these principles to a new level for me.

Doing less is not about reducing effort. It is about obsessively focusing on what truly matters. Prioritising fewer, high-impact objectives, such as your Quarterly Rocks, drives exceptional results.

In today’s fast-paced world, it is easy to overcommit. However, in an EOS-run company, less truly is more. Narrowing attention to your vision, critical Rocks, and key measurables eliminates distractions and aligns team efforts.

For me, Keats’ message was a powerful reminder to simplify, eliminate distractions, and commit to excellence. Success is not about doing everything. It is about doing the right things extraordinarily well.

Do less and obsess. This is my mantra heading into 2025!
