Do we really need to issue press releases?!

Lots of startups and SMEs do not issue press releases. If you have a website and presence on the social media and you do not issue press releases, then, you are really missing something. Whether you are a startup or a company that has been in the market for years, you have to issue press releases at least on quarterly basis, that is not very demanding!

The world needs to know you are there and that you have something to say about your business. Customers are not only interested in the products you may have on your website; they need to know you more. Press releases, even if they are not read by the visitors, they give the impression that the company has something to tell the world. These types of companies are my preferred ones, I get the feeling that they care about their prospected and current customer’s.

For startups, it is even more important. A startup is a company that has a new idea or a new way to offer a service or do a business. Going through the products and about us parts is not enough to give a better picture of the new idea. Milestones are crucial on roads and especially for people that use it for the first time. Press releases play the same role for prospect investors in startups, they add more info and directions to the road the company is following.

If you have a startup, you need to talk about it and explain it to everybody to be able to attract as much as possible investors and clients. Make their life easier and create press releases to show them what you are doing. It’s important!
