CHICAGO – September 18, 2020 – Those expecting to sell future flying taxi rides for more than one hundred U.S. dollars are likely to be disappointed, or so indicates Aviation Newswire’s recently concluded consumer survey of attitudes toward passenger air taxi service. Over a course of five months beginning April 2020, 1,137 individuals were queried about a number of topics related to passenger eVTOL service, including price sensitivity. A summary of the price sensitivity query is shown below, indicating that the “magic” price point is $50 or less.
