Do I come from a different dimension?

We know that the reality is stranger than fiction and as we understand it is limited by our senses. What kind of light we can or cannot see? How do we perceive time change? Do you work like horses with blinders on, we can only travel sanely by limiting our perceptions? Indeed, it seems as though one major role of our “right” or “left” brain is to dampen the strength of the other side… how much is this dimension simply what we permit ourselves to experience, and how easy or hard is it to slip from one world to another without knowing?
Worlds and worlds whirling all around and little old guy like me in the middle making up “reality” as I go along. So are you sensing this and all of us almost semi-certain that what we sense is real! I live in two dimensions or planes, two simultaneous, true and incompatible perspectives of the same underlying reality.
The first plane is the world everyone else lives in. People laugh, love and die. My choices, effort and luck define my fate. I am a person. This is the world in non-duality known as “not one”. This seems like reality, and usually I fall into the human level dream and forget that it's not. It's called 'Maya', or simply the illusion of a subjective mind like virtual reality.
The second plane is an empty dimension. You can visit but nobody lives here. Nobody is doing nothing, because molecules are doing everything, all by themselves. Being a human is a perspective of pure awareness arising to watch an eternal show. I am the cosmos producing pretend ghosts in my machine, the one infinite mind. This is the realm in non-duality known as “not two”, the zone past the personal realization of the 'Maya'. The true objective reality.
Over to my Story No.1. Once upon a time, when I was in college, just hanging out in my room, you may say probably wasting time on the internet and my cell phone rang. The caller ID showed that the number was not in my contacts, but it was very similar to my own phone number. At least the area code was the same. I answered the phone and said “Hello?” Immediately, the caller said, “Oh, I’m sorry, I have the wrong number.” The weird part? The caller’s voice sounded exactly like mine. I was shocked and stunned. If I had been able to think faster, I would have tried to keep the caller on the line and find out more about him. As it was, I simply said “Er, okay, no problem” I kept on thinking..was it a version of me in another “dimension,” or a parallel universe, whose path mistakenly crossed mine somehow? Or was it a normal person whose voice just sounded like mine?
Over to story No.2: When I was in college, I was walking across campus to get home after class when I saw a young man walking across the road in a direction perpendicular to mine. He was moving away from me, so I couldn’t see his face, but from behind, he looked exactly like me. His hair, shirt, pants, body shape, walking gait, everything. Except for one thing, he was wearing a pair of brand new leather shoes of the same brand which I had seen in the show room last night and I’ve always thought of buying those shoes which were so cool, I thought or maybe that’s me from the not too distant future! I wanted so much to ask him but he just disappeared in thin air leaving me stunned.
Finally my story No.3 I like staying up some times until daylight thinking about so many things n the world and also I love to sit on open terrace or grass lawn under the stars and listen to the world breathing and when I tell some people this they act like I have started speaking in 'Sanskrit'. Just then I could see my peripheral vision that no one else seems to notice..those shadows and lights were slowly moving like clouds over a meadow and I am not joking or dreaming but it was really happening this time that I could actually sense I was moving along with the stars and the cloud.
Then I have realised that I might come from a different dimension as why all these things are happening to only me? I know that the dimensions are not places or alternative realities. This naming convention as dimension of a different plane makes no sense to me either. It makes people less capable of imagining multi-dimensional reality than they would otherwise be if they’ve never seen this poor sci-fi kind of movie. 4 年A very nice article. Enjoyed reading it. It is true, it is impossible to make others around you perceive what you do. So we all live in our own world.
