There is a big difference between doing something and trying to do something. Do you understand the differences between trying and doing??You either do something, or you don’t do it.?
There is an excellent quote from the Star Wars movies from the Jedi Master Yoda. In his effort to influence the mindset of his apprentice Luke Skywalker, Yoda encourages and challenges Luke with this epic quote: “Do, or do NOT. There is NO try.”
When we say were are “trying,” we don’t necessarily have to do anything. We can think about doing it and then do nothing.
