Do The 'Deep Work' What Does That Even Mean?

Do the “deep work”, what does that even mean?

You have probably heard the term “deep work” and I want to share with you something today that could change the direction of your life forever...

My personal growth journey started after I had an anxiety attack that was being caused by a relationship that I knew that I needed to leave but I was staying in well over 12 years ago now...

That was the opening, but honestly, I never thought that it would lead me this far into understanding myself and others in personal transformation.

That was the turning point of ‘I can actually change myself by changing the way I think’, which for anyone into growth will know is THE most important turning point.

Over the years, I’ve done a lot of ‘deep work’ which had helped me to see the world differently, create success, help others but more importantly come to a place within myself that is more peaceful.

I want to discuss for a moment a very important ‘turning point’ in personal development/growth.

It goes a little something like this...

If you have ever attended a business mastermind struggling and then started to generate the money you will resonate with this...

There becomes a turning point where you go to the mastermind because you ‘need to get somewhere’ but then when you break through milestones, you start going to the mastermind to be there and add value to others.

You reach a turning point from needing to be there to want to be there to have the experience and grow and you end up being the person who gives answers vs asking questions.

The ‘deep work’ to me is the 100% commitment to never have that feeling within of ‘searching’ for something that is missing.

If that means you get on a plane and attend an event, you do it.

If a book piques your interest you read it.

If you go to Peru for a medicine ceremony, you go.

If you come across a coach that resonates, you hire them.

The list goes on... you are ALL IN!

What’s the journey for you? It will be unique, based on the decisions you make and those that you come across in your journey.

Once you are into the root of the tree, the journey will not be one straight hit to the bottom. It doesn’t work like that.

The SPEED in which you change comes down to the window of opportunity that you take to take that deep dive inwards and you don’t let fear control you.

You keep going and going, regardless of the fear, emotions, and uncomfortable situations that make come up until...

You no longer feel that feeling within.

Because I felt that feeling until I didn’t.

That moment in 2018 when it went away.

You see now, I read books, I still invest in myself and still listen to myself to grow and learn, but it comes from a different place.

Because I DID the deep work to get to this place.

This does not mean that I’m still not at risk of going back to old behaviors, but I’ve created such a new way of being that the toxicity that once controlled me is no longer an energetic force pulling me.

I’m not the same man I was...

And that’s something that everyone should be aware of when it comes to making judgments around others...
