Do Christians judge and kill??
Do Christians judge and kill??
Acts 5vv1-11:
-??????????New American Standard Bible 1995
Fate of Ananias and Sapphira
5?But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property,?2?and?kept back?some?of the price for himself, with his wife’s?[Or?collusion]full knowledge, and bringing a portion of it, he?laid it at the apostles’ feet.?3?But Peter said, “Ananias, why has?Satan filled your heart to lie?to the Holy Spirit and to?keep back?some?of the price of the land??4?While it remained?unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not?[Or?in your authority]under your control? Why is it that you have?[Lit?placed]conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but?to God.”?5?And as he heard these words, Ananias?fell down and breathed his last; and?great fear came over all who heard of it.?6?The young men got up and?covered him up, and after carrying him out, they buried him.
7?Now there elapsed an interval of about three hours, and his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.?8?And Peter responded to her, “Tell me whether you sold the land?[Lit?for so much]for such and such a price?” ?And she said, “Yes,?[Lit?for so much]that was the price.”?9?Then Peter?said?to her, “Why is it that you have agreed together to?put?the Spirit of the Lord to the test? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out?as well.”?10?And immediately she?fell at his feet and breathed her last, and the young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.?11?And?great fear came over the whole church, and over all who heard of these things.
-=-=-=?Yes, Peter judged this couple(2 persons) and had them dead in front of other Christians, immediately.
Peter spoke and people died.?Whether people try to dodge the issue by saying he did not use gun/s or sword/s is immaterial.?Killing can be by words, feelings, and so on.?Killing is killing; and death is death.?No use making the line on peacemakers in the Sermon on the Mt. any overwhelming and surpassing law or statement.
Pacifists try turning to the NT only to teach there ought to be no violence and no killing by Christians.?That turning to the NT and the Sermon on the Mt. alone is an evil and wicked move.?But even in the NT, as in the passage of Acts 5vv1-11 we have an account of Christian killing Christians in front of other Christians.
So many turn to the NT to avoid certain issues and reality to fashion their only doctrine; but turn specifically to the OT, such as to the 10 commandments, when they want to include certain law and doctrine into their system of belief and behavior.?This is also a pre-meditated evil.

?
The?high?priest?Ananias commanded those standing beside him to strike him on?the?mouth.
-=-=-?The high priest commanded a violence.
Paul, looking intently at?the?[Or?Sanhedrin]Council, said,
-=-=- Paul knew he was in front of the council, so his judgement of whitewashed wall is addressing them all.?Paul saw the high priest, but he was not dressed up or Paul’s eye sight was good enough to realize he was the high priest.
-=-=-?We also have the Sanhedrin of Jews(non-Christians, not saved) today.
?
Acts 23:2-5
-??????????New American Standard Bible 1995
2?The high priest?Ananias commanded those standing beside him?to strike him on the mouth.?
3?Then Paul said to him, “God is going to strike you,?you whitewashed wall! Do you?sit to try me according to the Law, and in violation of the Law order me to be struck?”?4?But the bystanders said, “Do you revile God’s high priest?”?
5?And Paul said, “I was not aware, brethren, that he was high priest; for it is written, ‘You shall not speak evil of a ruler of your people.’”
-=-=-?Paul pronounced judgement on the high priest not knowing he is the high priest.?But no judgement was made to Paul because of that.?A Christian can invoke God.?Paul spoke justice without proof, and the bystanders saw that as reviling(唾罵) an officer of God calling him a whitewashed wall, especially the high priest.?Paul spoke horrible thing calling the high priest a bad name, or judging what he does.?
?
The judgement of certain officers is left to God to take care entirely. Things take human time to take care and come to a conclusion.
and while being?reviled, He did?not?revile?in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting?Himself?to Him who judges righteously;
-=-=-=-?Jesus Himself set an example of entrusting oneself to God the Father for action, allocation, judgement, and conclusion.
?
?9?And there occurred a great uproar; and some of?the scribes of the Pharisaic party stood up and?began?to argue heatedly, saying, “We find nothing wrong with this man;?suppose a spirit or an angel has spoken to him?”?
-=-=- Note that some officers declared that they find nothing wrong with Paul.??They supposed somebody spiritual could have expressed through Paul.?Note that it was acceptable to be supernatural.?People did not always try to speak of and prove things by Science or secular law cases.
-==-
But actually, I wrote to you?not?to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a?reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler—not?even to eat with such a one.
--=-=-?Paul himself taught and try not to revile anyone.?We are not to make reviling our profession or pass-time.
There is need to dissociate with bad influence, even if a person is so-called “brother” or “Christian”.?Many churches have policies and try to accept and embrace all churches, denominations, especially accepting and entertaining Catholic church and Catholics, Anglicans.?That is their choice.?We are to dissociate with lie, heresies, immorality, hypocrisy, and more.?Be holy!?Be straight, honest, and not twisted.?We have much to do as believers of Christ Jesus.
Do not sit with, stand with, and walk with evils.

2 Peter 2:9-11
-??????????New American Standard Bible 1995
9?then?the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from?[Lit?trial; or?temptation]temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the?day of judgment,?10?and especially those who?[Lit?go after]indulge the flesh in?its?corrupt desires and?despise authority.
Daring,?self-willed, they do not tremble when they?revile angelic?[Lit?glories]majesties,?11?whereas angels who are greater in might and power do not bring a reviling judgment against them before the Lord.
-==- Note the relation between self-willed and Free Will.?So many want to determine everything by themselves and not respectfully turn to God for direction, enlightenment, analysis, answers and teachings first.
-=-=-
Jude
10?But?these men revile the things which they do not understand; and?the things which they know by instinct,?like unreasoning animals, by these things they are?[Lit?corrupted]destroyed.
-=-=-?Nowadays lots of Christians belong to this category, being corrupted and corrupting.?Having been vaccinated, they are turning to zombies more, reasoning less(like unreasoning animals), and moving with restricted movement.?They attended cemetery called seminary, having poor Theological and professional education.?With pride and much arrogance they want to be worshipped for their imagined artificial glory.?With denominational tradition they want to judge and revile, bad mouth and curse, dissociate and disown.
The blood of Jesus saves them and covers sins.?But their rewards greatly suffer because of their sins and evils.
