Do British Gas Sensor Test the CO Alarms they have sold to their customers to keep them safe?

Pressing the test button on a CO Alarm DOES NOT tell you that you are still being protected because the sensor may not be able to sense the deadly carbon monoxide gas BUT as long as there is sufficient power to the unit the alarm will sound to tell you that it is!
How many Carbon Monoxide Alarms have been sold with this knowledge? What are people doing about it? 7 to 10 year warranties are being given on alarms but if you test your unit with an approved CO Alarm Test Kit and it fails, it is replaced free of charge.
KEEP YOU, YOUR FAMILY, YOUR CUSTOMERS AND TENANTS SAFE - MAKE SURE THE CARBON MONOXIDE ALARM YOU HAVE EITHER SOLD OR FITTED INTO YOUR PROPERTIES IS STILL PROVIDING PROTECTION.
DETECTAGAS is a multi award winning, patented product and the only NCC Verified Product (The National Caravan Council) to be used to test CO Alarms in caravans/motorhomes/tourers. It is entirely safe to use with no hazard warnings and is non flammable and will not damage the Alarm in any way. One Detectagas Test Kit should last the warranty period of an alarm as there are 11 tests per kit - one test on installation and one test per year thereafter.
This is a major issue - but there is a solution!
