Do all problems have quick-fix solutions? Lesson from Indian Epics.

Do all problems have quick-fix solutions? Lesson from Indian Epics.

Sometimes some problems do not even need to be solved. They just need to be tolerated.

Today, humans lack this one essential quality called patience. They need everything fast.

There are so many gadgets nowadays created to make our life seemingly easier and faster. But this is decreasing our capacity to be patient.

Lord Krishna once left Mathura and came back after 11 years to solve the problems of his subjects. He wanted people to learn to not expect the immediate solution to every problem.

However, sometimes some problems do not even need to be solved. They just need to be tolerated. This toleration of the problem is a solution in itself, and that is called ‘Delayed Management’.

Delayed Management says that rather than trying to find a quick-fix solution,? just delay finding the solution. As with time, the situations, the needs, and the moods of the people change along with their maturity level.?

As said, time is a good baker, but you have to be patient for that cake to be baked. Even the gaps added in the playing of a drum add to the musical melody. Hence, sometimes not doing anything is a solution.

?Lord Rama, whose wife was kidnapped, waited for the monsoon to get over for four months on Malyavan hill. Wonder how he had waited so long when his wife was in danger! But sometimes there’s nothing we can do and patience is all we can have.

Remember, an intelligent problem solver is not the one who solves every problem, but the one who knows which problems to solve and which to tolerate.
