Do not be AFRAID… reading this will not be HAZARDOUS to your health… but, could have lasting… yet positive… effects.

2 Timothy 3 -  But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. 6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9 But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.

My Remarks: Well now… if you’ve read this far… then, at least, I have your attention. It should be VERY EVIDENT that satan, for now, is ruling the world; the place we humans call earth. We humans have ‘set God aside.’ We should be reminded that God ‘will not tolerate’ playing second fiddle to satan… or any false god. So, BEWARE! Satan, and his helpers (other humankind) are all amongst us. Just think… if Adam and Eve can be tempted, and fail, then certainly…. We can… and are. We are sleeping with the enemy. 

What should we do? The ‘very last’ instructions that Jesus gave the Apostles is seen in Matthew 28:16-20… The Great Commission……16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” What are we doing to advance the Word of Jesus to others?

And then… in 2nd Peter 1:5 In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, 6 and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, 7 and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.

Further…. In Matthew 22:36-40…36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

In conclusion: We must repent of our sins… accept Jesus Christ as our Savior… and Love our neighbor as ourself.
