Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday referred to the clearance of the Women's Reservation Bill in the Lok Sabha yesterday as a 'golden moment of the Parliamentary journey of India' and credited all the members of all the parties and their leaders for the achievement.

3. 'Sanatan Dharma' remark row: SC issues notice to Udhayanidhi Stalin, Tamil Nadu government

The SC has issued a notice to Udhayanidhi Stalin and the Tamil Nadu government over the DMK leader's remarks on 'Sanatan Dharma'.

Comparing Sanatan Dharma with the likes of malaria and dengue, Udhayanidhi Stalin had said that it should not only be opposed but “eradicated” from India during a public address.
