DNA Micro Software Inc. Welcomes Students From Misamis University

CEBU CITY – DNA Micro Software Inc. warmly welcomed the students and faculty members from Misamis University (MU) College of Computer Studies on their educational tour last June 1. To broaden the knowledge and enhance the skills of aspiring developers, DNA Micro forged a connection with universities both in and outside of Cebu City.

Headed by the MU faculty members, Mr. Markdy Orong , Mr. Hidear Talirongan , and Ms. Florence Jean Talirongan , 43 students from MU Ozamiz and Oroquieta campuses attended and participated in the site tour. The DNA Micro Team, headed by Ms. Anthea Anthea Larrobis , Director for Employee Success, facilitated the delegates in a short program during Part I of the activity.?

In Part II, Software Engineers Leo Lorenzo Soon , Princess Joy Duran , and Irish Rufo , gave a software development discussion followed by an open discussion and question and answer session facilitated by the DNA Micro Team from different departments, including Jom Vincent Van Ampit , Robert Bona , Bon Joseph Lazaga , and the speakers themselves.

Moreover, Felippe Baricuatro , Project Manager, discussed the essence of Project Management in a software development company and how it functions as the backbone of delivering quality output to clients. He also stressed the importance of communication, planning, and client requirements as fundamental assets to work and succeed as a development team.

In Part III of the program, Digital Marketing Manager, Rober Bona, shared about the communication tools and their role in delivering on-time and high-quality outputs to clients and users.?

In the last part of the program, the students and faculty members interacted with the DNA Micro team for the work immersion proper. Students were encouraged to ask questions, especially those related to software development. In the end, they were very eager to learn and understand the concepts of software development and the latest trends in programming languages, and how they can improve their skills to meet the demands of the industry.
