DMT JOINS THE ACTION IN ZURICH: BACKING POGA?AR AND THE SLOVENIAN NATIONAL TEAM!

The 2024 Zurich World Championships kicked off last weekend, featuring a week of races including time trials and road races, with the best Junior, U23, and Elite athletes from around the globe. DMT couldn’t miss this prestigious event, and beyond providing shoes for many of the riders, the brand has chosen to actively support the Slovenian Cycling Federation as they chase history on Sunday, September 29.

For years, a strong bond has connected the company from Bonferraro di Sorgà to Tadej Poga?ar, who has become a legend season after season while wearing his POGI'S shoes and contributing to the development of ever more high-performance footwear. After winning both the Giro d’Italia and the Tour de France in the same year, Tadej has set his sights on another extraordinary goal: the coveted rainbow jersey that’s missing from his already impressive list of achievements.

"I know I’m young, but the sooner I win the Worlds, the better—I’ll get that pressure off my back,” Poga?ar joked in a recent interview. It’s worth noting that only two riders in history have managed to win the Giro, Tour, and World Championships in the same year: Eddy Merckx and Stephen Roche.

To complete his masterpiece, he’ll need a strong, united team by his side, which is why DMT has chosen to support the entire Slovenian National Team. The Slovenian squad, in their signature bright green jerseys, will line up with one of the strongest teams ever assembled, featuring not just captain Tadej but also Primo? Rogli?, fresh off his fourth Vuelta a Espa?a victory, along with solid riders like Jan Tratnik, Luka Mezgec, Domen Novak, and Matev? Govekar.
