DMGroup Spotlight on Superintendents' Strategy Summit
Last week, over 200 district leaders from 80 districts across the country gathered in New York City for District Management Group’s Annual Superintendents’ Strategy Summit. The event also marked DMGroup’s 20th anniversary of partnering with districts to bring about measurable, sustainable improvements in student outcomes.
The Summit was filled with opportunities to learn and collaborate and served as a platform for district leaders to exchange ideas, collaboratively problem-solve, and discuss actionable strategies on how to tackle challenges in their school districts.
Multiple strong takeaways… Outstanding conference!
Continues to be a priority for me to attend and bring a team.
Ehren Jarrett, Superintendent, Rockford Public Schools (IL)
John J-H Kim, CEO and founder of DMGroup, opened the session with a dynamic deep dive into the state of public education, sharing ideas to drive real results for our students.
Deborah Bial, president and founder of The Posse Foundation and winner of the MacArthur “Genius” Award, gave the keynote address, discussing identifying and unlocking student potential.
The breakout sessions featured many of our district partners sharing their successful work addressing topics including improving student outcomes, special education, SEL, enrollment support, attendance, elementary and secondary scheduling, strategic planning, and strategic budgeting.
Mark your calendars for our 2025 Superintendent’s Strategy Summit which will be held February 5-7 in New York City. If your district is not yet a member of DMCouncil, please contact us at [email protected]. We'd love you to join us!
