DL4C Workshop @ ICLR 2022
Deep Learning for Code (DL4C) is a workshop that will provide a platform for researchers to share their work on deep learning for code.

DL4C Workshop @ ICLR 2022

On April 29, 2022 Torsten Scholak and Dzmitry Bahdanau from ServiceNow Research will be co-hosting the Deep Learning for Code (DL4C) workshop as part of the International Conference on Learning Representations (ICLR).

Completion, repair, and synthesis of program code are exciting applications of Deep Learning methods and the recent application of large-scale language modeling techniques holds a tremendous promise to completely revolutionize this area (Chen et al., 2021; Austin et al., 2021). Researchers in both industry and academia are just beginning to explore the potential of large-scale Deep Learning for code, while state-of-the-art models still struggle with correctness and generalization. The purpose of the DL4C workshop is to share ideas and discuss the challenges specific to this line of work.

We invite submissions addressing a wide range of topics related to Deep Learning for code, including but not limited to:

  • AI Code assistants
  • New representations and model architectures for code
  • Pre-training methods for code
  • Translation from natural language to code or vice versa
  • Static code analysis
  • Evaluation of code models

Research, technical, and position papers, as well as system demonstrations, are welcome. The submission deadline is February 25, 2022. Please make sure to consult the DL4C call for papers for further details pertaining to topics of interest, submission guidelines, and other FAQs.

If you have questions or would like to get involved with the workshop – for instance by serving as a reviewer – contact the organizers at [email protected].

You are also invited to follow workshop-related activities on Twitter @DL4Code.

Chairs include Torsten Scholak (ServiceNow Research), Gabriel Orlanski (New York University), Disha Shrivastava (Mila), Arun Raja (Institute of Infocomm Research, A*STAR), Dzmitry Bahdanau (ServiceNow Research), and Jonathan Herzig (Google Research).

We are excited to help bring this workshop together and hope to see you there!
