1 年Good article. Preparing this manual calculation must be painful if using excel. I used to prepare 3-core 132 kV submarine cable ampacity using Mathcad. The most interesting and tedious part of doing this manual calculation is to reverse the calculation i.e. to demonstrate the conductor temperature is 90 deg C if we key in current of 795 A (in your case). Some client also wants us to produce a chart showing the temperature of each cable component (conductor, inner sheath, bedding, outer sheath) for various current values.
