Diwali the celebration of wealth, success and victory in all phases of life
History of Diwali
The most well-known story behind Diwali is the great Hindu epic, The Ramayana. King Dasharatha, ordered the prince of Ayodhya, his son Rama, to leave his kingdom and return after fourteen years of living in the forest in exile. So Rama and his dedicated wife, Sita, and Lakshmana went into the forest for the said period. When Ravana, the demon king of Lanka, abducted Sita and took her to his kingdom, Rama fought against Ravana and killed him. The victory of Lord Ram is celebrated as Diwali when he returned back to his kingdom, Ayodhya.
Diwali is also celebrated because of the spiritual significance when the demon Narakasura was murdered by Lord Krishna, Satyabhama, and Kale on this very day. In Telangana, Andhra.
