Wait – are we celebrating divorce now?
Yes. I contend that we should.
You drink champagne on the way in, so why not drink champagne on the way out?
Now, let me be clear – I believe in marriage. I hope to be married again someday (though next time, I’ll choose more wisely). Divorce isn’t always the right decision. But if you are?divorced or in the process of ending your marriage, then congratulations.
Not because it was easy. Not because it didn’t hurt. But because it means you chose you.
Divorce Isn’t Just an Ending – It’s a Beginning
Divorce is one of the most painful transitions a person can go through. It’s emotional, messy and often filled with uncertainty. But here’s the thing: change happens for us, not to us.
Once the healing begins, maybe – just maybe – this will turn out to be the best thing that ever happened for you.?All you have to do is reframe your thinking, tap into your inner optimism and start seeking out opportunities instead of losses.
And that’s where the celebration comes in.

Why Divorce Deserves a Toast
If you’re happily married, I celebrate you too! But let’s acknowledge a truth: not every marriage is meant to last forever.?And that’s okay. Staying in a toxic, stagnant or unhealthy relationship often does more harm than good.
Because letting go of something that isn’t right for you isn’t failure – it’s courage.
New Chapter, New You
So yes, let’s celebrate divorces and those who rise from them. Because you are strong. You are resilient. And there are infinite possibilities ahead.

1 个月Love this reframe. As someone who guides sensitive women through divorce, I see how powerful it is when we shift from "tragic ending" to "brave beginning." The champagne metaphor is perfect - we're not just celebrating an ending, we're toasting to choosing authenticity, to honoring our journey, to becoming more fully ourselves. My unexpected lesson? That sensitivity during divorce isn't a weakness to overcome, but actually becomes a superpower for wildly beautiful and intentional transformation.
Huge huge congratulations!
