"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you.”

HOLY SPIRIT, HAVE YOUR WAY.

TOPIC: DIVINE RESTORATION: WHEN GOD REDEEMS LOST SEASONS.

There are seasons in life when we look back and see what appears to be wasted time—years consumed by poor decisions, painful circumstances, or challenging trials. Like a field ravaged by locusts, these seasons can leave us feeling stripped bare, and wondering if recovery is ever possible.

Yet, today's foundation reveals God's heart for supernatural restoration.

Notice God's personal commitment: "I will restore." This isn't just about compensation; it's about the restoration that brings about divine transformation. The same God who permitted the locusts also promises restoration.

This reveals a profound truth: even our seasons of loss are under God's Sovereign control, working together for one particular good or the other. Yes! God specialises in turning our mourning into dancing!

Perhaps you're looking back at certain years with regret, counting the cost of mistakes or circumstances beyond your control. How the same subject matters you stood for years ago, has become so unappreciative of all your sacrifices. Joel 2:25 comes as a powerful promise of God's restorative power.

Notice that God specifically speaks of restoring "years.": Our God is not bound by time. He can take what appears wasted or lost and infuse it with new purpose and meaning. The very experiences that seemed to destroy can become the foundation for unexpected growth and blessing.

Just as a farmer's field can become more fertile after a devastating locust plague due to the organic matter left behind, our seemingly barren seasons can enrich the soil of our spiritual lives. God's restoration isn't just about returning what was lost - it's about transformation. In those years of hardship , you have developed resilience, a compassionate heart, or God used it to prepare you for a purpose you couldn't have imagined.

What "locusts" have attacked your past and present life's seasons?

How can you position yourself for God's restoration?

What areas need divine intervention for supernatural recovery?

Today, identify those "locust-eaten" areas of your life. Instead of dwelling in regret, give it all to God as soil, for new growth. He will work with them for your own good.

- Forgive the people involved and FORGIVE YOURSELF also.Amen.

- Thank God for restoration before seeing it.

- Align with The Holy Spirit and take inspired action Steps. Amen.
