Currently only 17% of tech jobs are held by females and at current estimates by 2040 it will be just 1% if there are no interventions. At Liverpool Girl Geeks, we want to change this. So we've launched our company membership scheme this week, to enable us to work more closely with local organisations who truly care about gender diversity in the workplace. We will showcase them as role model companies who are fully committed to tackling the current gender imbalance in the tech sector. 

Our members will support us in 2017 so that we can continue to work on our mission; to inspire as many females as possible to enter and remain in the industry.
