Diversified Transportation Announced as the Title Sponsor for the National 18U and U13 Western Baseball Championships

Baseball Canada is returning to Fort McMurray in 2023 through a partnership between the Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo and Fort McMurray Minor Baseball Association. From August 17-20, the region will welcome two prestigious Baseball Canada events with the 2023 Baseball Canada 18U National Championship and the 2023 Baseball Canada 13U National Western Championship. Both events are presented by Diversified Transportation Ltd.

Building on the success of the 2016, 2018 and 2022 Baseball Canada events held in Wood Buffalo, the 2023 season will see 10 teams of elite-level 18 and under athletes from across the country take to the field at Legacy Dodge Field at Shell Place and Ross Hennigar Ball Park at the 2023 Baseball Canada 18U National Championship.

Eight teams of 13 and under players participating in the 2023 Baseball Canada 13U National Western Championship will play at Bob Campbell Field at MacDonald Island Park and the Howard Pew Park ball diamond.

The Baseball Canada 18U National Championship and 13U National Western Championship are two of eleven annual national Baseball Canada tournaments. The Fort McMurray Minor Baseball Association will have an opportunity to represent the region and showcase local baseball talent through our very own Fort McMurray host teams who will be competing in both tournaments.?
