Diversified Fort McMurray's Christmas Giving Campaign Really Delivered!

On Friday, December 16th, Diversified Fort McMurray 'delivered' in a big way!

For this year's Christmas Giving Campaign, we partnered with the Wood Buffalo Food Bank, and to say this year has been a tough one is an understatement. With inflation reaching its highest point in over 40 years, food banks all over the country have been experiencing higher-than-normal usage. In November, we put out the call to our DTL family that we would be delivering all donations on December 16th, and the competition was on!

To give you a back story, no matter who we partner with for our Christmas Giving Campaign, the maintenance shops have always taken it upon themselves to set the bar high. Steve Coleman rallied the crew at the Fort McKay shop, and together they gathered enough donations to fill the back of a pick-up truck! The other shops were not going to be left behind, and in true DTL fashion – they delivered in a big way – 828lbs to be exact!

This incredible act of giving wasn't a one-person or one-shop effort. This was a collective effort from all locations and all departments, and like we do every year - the Diversified family once again answered the call!
