Diverse Voices, Powerful Impact: Tata Power Odisha Discoms' WILL Program Sets the Stage for Women Empowerment

In a groundbreaking initiative to promote gender diversity and empower women in leadership roles, Tata Power Odisha Discoms hosted the Women in Leadership League (WILL) program. The central Learning and Development (L&D) team organized this two-and-a-half-day residential program, inaugurated by Shri Arvind Singh, CEO TPCODL. The program aims to celebrate womanhood, enhance self-awareness and foster strategic alliances for success through the Next Gen Women Leaders Workshop.

The WILL program featured insightful sessions and activities conducted by accomplished women leaders from various sectors, each contributing their expertise to inspire and guide the women employees of Tata Power Odisha Discoms.

Sangeeta Bansal is a seasoned instructor of management techniques, organizational behaviour, marketing and personality development. Renowned for her contributions to human capital management, she now serves as a management consultant, bringing her wealth of knowledge to empower women in leadership roles.

Dr. Swati Padoshi: A behavioural specialist with over 20 years of corporate and academic experience, Dr. Swati Padoshi is a certified corporate director, POSH consultant and trainer. Recognized for her achievements in neuro-linguistic programming, entrepreneurship and women's leadership, she is dedicated to the fields of NLP practices, women empowerment and human development.

Dr. Babita Panda: A renowned fertility specialist and gynaecologist, Dr. Babita Panda is the Managing Director and Chief IVF consultant of Future Fertility IVF, Bhubaneswar. With a prestigious career that includes recognition as the Young Scientist of the Year, Dr. Panda contributes her expertise to empower women in the field of reproductive medicine.

Ms. Anupama Swain: An international karate and Ju-Jitsu champion, Ms. Anupama Swain has showcased her prowess in various competitions worldwide. BK Durgesh Nandini: With a 34-year association with Brahma Kumaris, Brahmakumari Durgesh Nandini is a spiritual leader and educator. Combining her background in science, law and management, she imparts spiritual guidance and values to individuals through her roles as a faculty member and motivational speaker.

Ms. Rashmi Zade: A certified yoga instructor with a decade of experience, Ms. Rashmi Zade is dedicated to promoting holistic well-being through yoga. Her expertise in breathing techniques and postures, along with her passion for the spiritual elements of yoga, makes her an integral part of the WILL program.

Prof. Dr. Nibedita Jena: Former Director of Higher Education, Vocational Education and Text Book Bureau, Prof. Dr. Nibedita Jena is a distinguished academician and researcher. With numerous publications, awards and leadership roles, she brought her wealth of experience to inspire and guide women in educational leadership.

Dr. Prajna Paramita Panda: A dedicated wildlife conservationist with nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Prajna Paramita Panda has played a pivotal role in framing policies and guidelines for the conservation and management of wild animals, including elephants. As the Program Manager at the International Union of Conservation of Nature (IUCN), she contributes to the conservation of Asian elephants across 13 countries in Asia.
