Each year the UN celebrates “World Space Week”. For 2024, the focus is on the intersection of space and climate. The Space Frontier Foundation joins in the observance in a series of articles looking into the accomplishments, tensions, opportunities, and future of the intersection of climate and space.?(Part 1: History, Part 2: Divergence)
Despite their apparent differences, space development and environmental conservation share foundational values and face similar challenges. By recognizing these commonalities and leveraging their complementary strengths, both communities can enhance their efforts toward a sustainable future.
