Ditech Testing to Expand Operations Beyond North America

In celebration of its 25th year in business, Ditech Testing is set to expand its operations in the US. The company, leading the tank refurbishing and recertifying in North America for over two decades, is now ready to cater to and serve new clients beyond the region.

The CEO of Ditech Testing, Dan Leblanc, said about the expansion:?"This is an exciting time for our company as we celebrate our 25th anniversary. We are expanding our facilities in Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada, and adding two new facilities in the US very soon."

This expansion will create new jobs and improve Ditech's ability to provide quality services to its current and new clients. In achieving this huge milestone, Dan also took the opportunity to reflect on Ditech's humble beginnings. He shares,?"Ditech began with an idea I envisioned while working at Air Liquid as a student. A year after graduation, I left my job and started working on a business plan with a friend. In October 1997, with the support of Mike Doyle from Superior Propane, who was also the first to believe in our vision, Chad MacNeil, and my dad, Gil Leblanc, we started Ditech Testing in a 4000-square-foot facility located in the city of Dieppe, New Brunswick, Canada."

With only one employee and a goal of recertifying and refurbishing at least 5,000 tanks each year, the team continuously strived for excellence by investing in innovative technology and systems that can allow them to serve the needs of their clients more efficiently. Twenty-five years later, Ditech has grown and has always been at the cutting edge of propane tank recertification and refurbishment in North America.

"We now have over 200,000 square feet of facilities and over 125 dedicated employees recertifying and refurbishing 100,000 plus tanks annually, from 420lb to 2000-gallon tanks,"?Dan adds.

As Ditech continues to widen its horizon, plans to expand its range of products and services are also in the pipeline. Dan quips,?"We invest a great deal in research and development to bring the next generation of Ditech products to the marketplace. Stay tuned for more exciting things to come!"
